Soooo glad to be back in the box. My knee started hurting during the workout, so I’m making an ortho appointment for sometime after the first. Hope he just tells me it’s runner’s knee… Will be taking it easy, but still working out, til then.

TWO-A-DAYS!! Went to Crossfit AND did day one of Insanity!

Burned 1191 calories! Which wasn’t my goal, but is a cool achievement! haha

Not sure I’m a big fan of Insanity, kind of repetitive. I’d never do it alone, which is fine as my friends are doing it with me. I’m not really ‘doing’ it necessarily, more as a random workout whenever I’m bored. Crossfit and running are still my priorities. Let’s see how long this lasts. :P

I’ll post the Crossfit workout later. :)

Crossfit Day #124

This was last week, sorry for the delay. It was my first day back post-injury, and I chose to row and omg it took me 26 minutes!!! Good calorie burn though. I had to sub deadlifts for the squats because of my knee though. :(

Partner 1 performs lunges with ovhd weight (I used 35lbs) from wall to wall
while Partner 2 works through:

When partner 1 gets back to where they started the partners switch and partner 1 takes off where partner 2 left off.

Trainer D told us this should be under 10 minutes, and a workout that leaves us on the floor. It was. my arms are killing me! Followed it up with a 500m row though haha.
